The Clyde Pneumatic Conveying Dome Type Valve solutions offering customizable options to meet your specific material handling needs. Users can choose from a variety of raw materials and surface coatings for the Dome, typically made from SG Iron, with other materials available upon request. For cohesive and sticky materials, the 'flat-top' Dome design is commonly used to reduce buildup.

Available Dome surface coatings include:

  • Chrome: Ideal for sticky or abrasive materials

  • ENP or Tungsten Carbide: Designed for abrasive materials

  • Epoxy Resin: Suited for corrosive materials

​

These coatings can also be applied to the internal surfaces of the valve body and adapters for added durability. Dome Type Valves handle fine granular and hard abrasive materials with ease, using General Vane actuators for sizes below 2mm and Cylinder actuators for larger sizes.
